How do I convert mg to mcg for peptide calculations?
Multiply milligrams by 1,000. For example, 5 mg equals 5,000 mcg and 0.25 mg equals 250 mcg. To convert in the other direction, divide mcg by 1,000. Keep the unit attached to every value because a milligram is one thousand times a microgram. The separate mg-to-mcg converter shows both directions without calculating a dose or syringe volume.
What does one U-100 syringe unit equal in mL?
One marked unit on a U-100 scale equals 0.01 mL because 100 units equal 1 mL. Therefore, 5 units equal 0.05 mL and 10 units equal 0.1 mL. This is a volume relationship, not a peptide mass or biological activity unit. A known concentration is required before an amount in mg or mcg can be converted to mL and syringe units.
Do 30-unit, 50-unit, and 100-unit syringes use the same peptide calculation?
If each device is explicitly labeled U-100, the relationship remains 100 marked units per mL. Their total capacities and graduation spacing differ, however, so the same mathematical result may be easier or harder to read on a particular device. Confirm the exact scale, capacity, and smallest graduation from the device labeling. This site does not model U-40 or choose equipment.
